By accessing or using WatchPilot (“the Service”), available at watchpilot.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
WatchPilot is a free personal tracking tool that allows users to manage watchlists for TV shows and movies, track episode progress, and view streaming availability information. Content metadata is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB).
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account through a supported authentication provider (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep your account information up to date.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Service
- Impersonate any person or entity
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by WatchPilot. TV show and movie metadata, images, and ratings are provided by TMDB and are subject to TMDB's own terms of use. Streaming availability data is sourced from TMDB and third-party providers.
6. User Data
You retain ownership of the data you provide to the Service (e.g., your watchlist entries and preferences). We use your data solely to provide and improve the Service. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on how we handle your information.
7. Availability & Changes
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. Streaming availability information may not always be accurate or up to date.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WatchPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to the Service or other users.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
